Hi Cakers,

I need your help to make sure that I am making enough cake for a party. There need to be 30 servings total. The client wants red velvet, chocolate and yellow cake, so I was thinking of doing 3 "baby blocks" that will each serve about 10 people.

What dimensions should my blocks be to equal 10 servings per cake? How much batter do I need to prepare for this and can I bake my batter in a half sheet pan and then build my blocks from there?

thank you so much!

when I say half sheet, I actually mean quarter sheet (I have a 9x13 pan).

tia!
