I am making my neices first birthday cake, I planned on using a regular icing (store bought) under the mmf that I always use but my cakes were always kept inside... will that icing hold up outside? If not... I don't know if I have time to go out and buy the stuff I would need (have to wait till another payday and I think her party will be before said payday LoL) Is there anything I can do or an easy on the wallet recipe I can make to have the right icing. I am looking to make a good impression (and an apology for not going to see her in the hospital when she was first born.

IndyDebi's icing holds up really well in the heat. It's also delicious!
Here's the recipe!

P.S. Dreamwhip is near the Jello pudding mixes in our Walmart.
