hey i am a teenager who just joined this website! i decided not to long ago, that making cakes/baking would be fun partially because i love ace of cakes those types of shows and, i thought it would be a nice hobby. however, even with the great invention of google, i am still having trouble finding webistes to get good/cheap equipment. i'm thinking maybe just to start of, to get a styrofoam cake and some piping tips to practice and get the feel. is there anything else i should get? anyway, i'm in desperate need of some websites and i'm hoping you all can help me!
thanks so much and, i <3 all the pics you guys post!! hehe!

I collect coupons from family and friends for the local craft stores (Michaels and AC moore) 40%off. I don't buy anything without them. Hope that helps.

another thing you can do is turn the cake pan upside down and just decorate that. You can scrape the frosting off and reuse it that way you get practice and don't waste money on styrofoam
