Can I Attach Fondant Decorations To Buttercream? If So, How?

I am doing a topsy turvy birthday cake and she wants buttercream with fondant strips and flowers attached. I'm nervous about the fondant pulling the buttercream or falling off all together. Any Suggestions? Thanks!

Really depends on how heavy they will be...what kind of BC you are using. Etc. You can always put the flowers either on wires or toothpicks to insert into the cake for more stability. If you are using a good crusting BC, you can use either white chocolate or RI to attach the other Fondant accents.
