I had my pre-inspection today and it went great!

She told me I needed to get a thermometer for inside my fridge, a papertowel hanger for my handwashing sink, chlorine strips for my disinfectant sink, and I have the wrong backflow valve on my mop sink (plumbers fault!!) so I thought she would say take a few weeks to fix things, call me for another appointment and I'll come back, but she just said "well fix them and you're licensed," and I almost peed in my pants. It was $222 which included a water sample, a one time new business regristration fee and my yearly license fee.

This has been two long years of work and it just happened in what seemed like a split second! I hadn't planned on opening until early fall, but now I want to open TOMORROW!!!

Just wanted to share, I'm so flippin' excited!!!

Yes, it is an in-home bakery for cookies. It's actually at my moms house, so she's my silent partner and volunteer worker.

I'm so excited to advertise and not worry about selling cookies to family members and being caught. I can hand out my awesome business cards now, get working on my brochure. It's really happening!! I'm so excited!!
