Can someone please help I live in Va. and was asked to send a cake covered in fondant to DE. I was always told not to freeze fondant or refrigerate it after being applied to a cake...so can this be done and how? icon_smile.gif

FondX can be refrigerated and frozen. Shipping cakes is a risky endeavor. Be sure the recipient knows it might arrive in less than perfect condition.

it can be done, but it either comes down to pure luck with the regular post or with a massive price tag for a door to door courier. if the customer is happy to pay, and to take the chance they get cake crumbs, then sure. but i cant think of a successful posted cake, other than cupcakes.
xx
