II need some advice. need some cupcakes for a baby shower on a thursday at 11. am. Will they go stale if I make them wednesday? how should I store them if I make them the day before.

As long as you wrap them up tight in some way, then you should be fine. What I mean is that if you put them in the box you are going to deliver them in and maybe cover with saran... or put them in some container that you can seal up. I am not sure if you are talking about "naked" cupcakes (not iced yet) or already decorated ones. If they are already decorated and you have icing covering most of the cake on top, then you should be okay as is although I always cover mine up with something.. even if it is a light layer of saran. If they are not iced, then I would make sure that they are covered or sealed up in a container of some sort until you ice them.
