I'm working on this cake right and I'm wondering if I just let the cake touch the board or should I give it height, it doesn't seem like to me like it needs it cause these racecars, they almost touch the ground. I'm so confused what do I do I really need to start carving. #83 Brian Vickers Toyota Camry Red Bull Car. I want this car to be perfect!

I am by no means an expert but I have made a race car cake, its in my pictures. I did elevate the car because although those cars sit low they are not on the ground that is just an allusion (sp) each division has a mandatory ride height and must fit a template. Also don't forget the curvature on the rear of the car that was my major PITA with my car! My family has build race cars for the local tracks all my life so I think thats why my car came out as good as it did. If I can be of any help please PM me, I hope I can give back to the CC community because I take so much whenever I am here. icon_lol.gif
