I am making a cake this weekend for my grand daughters 4th birthday. It will be Dora. I know the BC will be purple and will have accents. Question is... I like the candy clay but can I use it for cutouts to stick on butter cream. I am thinking circles, hearts or stars, still in the planning process.

Thanks

It depends, my personal opinion would be fondant because it won't dry as hard. Gumpast dry's hard, as for the chocolate clay if you have it made up I would say yes but otherwise I would go for fondant. HTH

I do have some candy clay made up, but may have to make more. I love to just experiment with it and play with it. I have some of it used on my sons cake for today but not on the sides of the cake so I am not sure if it sill hold on the side of the cake.
