Hello everyone,

My grandmother passed away last Tuesday and I'm going to make a open book cake for the funeral tomorrow and I wanted to put her picture on one side of the book with her name and DOB & DOD...so I need some kind of message to put on the other side maybe like a bible verse, scripture, poems or quote. Anyone has any ideas?! TIA!!!

I do have a phrase that my grandmother would say to me, I keep a copy in my wallet (written by her, she passed 3 yrs ago) and is so true:

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal

I thought about you all night and talked to my mom this morning about the blog. She says that me joining and posting was my grandmothers way of once again touching my life and pointing me in the right direction. She always supported me in the cake/baking, but I never thought I could do it.

Don't mean to ramble - but things happen for all of us with a surprising reason in the craziest ways.

The actual author of the phrase is unknown (at least by me) I never thought to look to see if it was something - but my mom told me it was a song?

I learned something new from mother ! LOL...it never stops even at 39 yo.
