on gumpaste before it dries out or after?i did mine after it was set to dry, tried it w/ vodka & w/o.but i didn't get the shimmer/sheen i wanted..thanks

I brush the gumpaste without a liquid added to the dust as i am making the decoration, but i will add a liquid (lemon extract) to the dust if the gumpaste has sat for a few minutes. this gives me a good shimmer/sparkle
