I'm very new to cake decorating, and need to make mustard yellow fondant but have no idea where to begin. I've been googling color charts, but haven't been able to find anything.

Any suggestions on starting colors would be very much appreciated!

Thanks so much!

I would say a golden yellow color with a bit of brown, small amounts until you get the right shade.

If you don't have golden yellow, add a minute amount of orange or even smaller amt of red to regular yellow until it looks like a light egg yolk color...then add small amounts of brown. It won't take much.

Good luck!

I agree! I find that Golden yellow is already a little mustardy (if that is a word) so a little brown with that should be good.
