Ok I know alcohol cooks off normally but does it cook off in cake also. I would like to try some of the cakes in the link below, but I cant have a bunch of drunk kids or drunk co-worker (nurses) running around.

Also what are some of your favorite combinations? I have taken 2 cakes to work both vanilla with raspberry filling. Everyone raves about them but I would like to make something different.

Most of the alcohol will cook out, but some will remain. The amount you put in the cake, divided out isn't enough to get anyone drunk.
