It has been raining all day so the humidity it through the roof, I'm sure. Anyhow, I used the crusting cream cheese icing (from here) and it isn't crusting. I'm stuck waiting now b/c there really isn't anything else i can do until I get my cake full smooth. Is there anything that I can do to encourage it along?

Freeze it icon_smile.gif

If it's humid and you know it will be while making the icing, next time add more powdered sugar and some meringue powder. For future notice.. the sugar:fat ratio is what causes the icing to crust.. the more the sugar in comparison to fat, the quicker it will crust.
