Hello everyone,

What is the answer to the sun fading the display dummies in my shop window. It's there for about a week and it starts to fade. Is it the type of color? I'm using gel color in royal icing and the fondant. I've also used the faux icing colored with the gel. HELP! All my hard work just fades away. TIA

Try dusting something with petal dust or chalk pastel. Place it in the window and see what happens. I know mine do not fade as fast when I dust them. Pinks are probably the worst.

Maybe put all white cakes in the window and place your coloured ones away from direct light.
