I know I am being cheap, but I was wondering if anyone had made a practice board to practice their buttercream piping on. If you have, would you be willing to share. I am just starting buttercream and was going to take a class. They canceled due to lack of enrollment. I would like to try to learn on my own, if at all possible, until a class is available. TIA

I covered a cake board in clear contact paper. Pipe BC on it then scrape it off and repeat. When done just wipe it off with a soapy dish rag lightly rug out then wipe with clear water.

If you have the wilton class books. All you have to do is put the sheets in a sheet protector and pipe on the sheet. Thats what I always did.
