I am going to be carving a ball glove to sit on an 8" round which is on top of a 12" square. Do I need to carve the glove as a 2 layer or a single layer? I have the cake frozen already. First attempt at carving.

I'm not much of a carver, but I would think a single layer because of how much carving you will have to do........would rice krispies work to form the glove? Anyway this will give you a bump and hopefully someone else will know the answer for you!
