I tried to make Indydebi's buttercream and it's way too soft! It won't crust and the more sugar I add makes it way too sweet. Is there anything I can do to salvage it or should I start again. Thanks in advance for help. I'm a newbie!

I'm sorry I can't help but you might pm debi.

she might be able to offer a suggestion and she is always very generous with her time.

That's what I miss the most! I spent so much time walking there when I was younger. I need to come home!

Sometimes a little bit of salt (and I mean a LITTLE BIT) will help it to crust. If that doesn't work, it sounds like you might just have to start over if adding powdered sugar isn't working.

Thanks! I added a bit ( I forgot to add that part) but it didn't help. I'll try to make it again.
