I am making my step brothers wedding cake this weekend, and he wants real white roses on top. Can I just wrap the stems in foil, and then stick them in? TIA

I would get a half ball of foam, wrap the stems in floral wire, stick the stems in the half ball of foam....put down a barrier between foam and cake, and set the foam on top of that. The flowers will naturally take a nice shape, like a bouquet almost, and you won't be pulling out gobs of cake and icing when the foil catches into the cake...which it will do. Ask me how I know...go ahead! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
