Quick question. I know i've seen this asked/answered on here before but I can't seem to find the post. But, I'm supposed to be making a strawberry cake for a bday party (just family) and it's kind of last minute. So i'm thinking i just want to buy store bought strawberry frosting.

Will this be ok to use under fondant, and any suggestions for the best way to make it work so there is no bulging?

Thanks in advance!

It's not as resistant or tasty as something you'd make, but since perfectly-airless icing is less of an issue under fondant, as long as it's a thin layer, it works fine. Good luck!
