I'm very interested in trying to fill a cake but not quite sure how to go about it. I love the lemon filled cakes and also chocolate and raspberry. Any guidance greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!!

You will need to pipe a stiff buttercream dam around the edge. Then spread the filling. Don't get the filling too thick or you'll have the layers slide around on you. Some filling need refridgeration, so keep that in mind.

Me too. I always use a dam of stiff buttercream even if just use plain buttercream as the filling.
