I have offered to donate cake for a fundraiser this weekend. It will be cut into squares and dipped in a chocolate fountain. Would it be best to make pound cake or would it work fine to use my WASC recipe and have it frozen/chilled well. Also, if pound is suggested any suggestions for a really good recipe??

Thanks, Joanne usaribbon.gif

The WASC is a great cake... But I'm a fool for homemade poundcake. icon_biggrin.gif

My favorite is Elvis Presley's Favorite, followed by the cream cheese pound cake (both use cake flour which produces a tighter, finer crumb).

Here's a link to Smack Your Momma poundcake recipes:

P.S. Wish I lived closer, I'd be the first in line at your booth!
