6/9/12/15/18 = 314 pretty close

Wilton has a good chart. That's a lot of servings from one cake but it is possible.
16, 14, 12, 10 (or9) & 6 each 4" high should come very close if not just over.
If it were me I'd use a 16" sq, then 14, 10, 8, 6 = 314

So they're inviting nearly 500 people to this wedding? Cause that's the only way they'd need that much cake. Don't get me wrong, I've done a cake for 500 and a cake for 600 before. I don't think I know 500 people I'd invite to a party.
