Are the stars and other designs on metal picks made of fondant? What gauge wire do you use?

Yes, my designs are made from regalice (which is a type of fondant)
I use 22 gauge wire
I cut out the shape - dip end of wire in sugarglue - slide gently into shape -leave for 3 - 4 days to completely dry.
Turning them every day - so as to dry evenly.
I lay mine of oven bake paper - on top of a hard surface (bread board)
