I need a tres leches recipe. Im going to be doing it for a graduation party, so i need one that wont run out of the cake. It needs to be clean, cuz it wont have anything to catch. It will be setup just like a regular cake. thanks

Here is one that I've gotten good feedback on:

5 eggs
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon bp
1 teaspoon bs
Pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla

1 condensed
1 evap milk
1/2 pint heavy cream

butter and flour a 13x9 pan
sift all dry ingredients
beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and water until light and fluffy
fold in flour
pour in pan and bake 15 - 20 min until toothpck comes out clean
poke holes in cake while it is warm
beat hc to whipped cream, add evaporated milk and condensed milk
pour milk mixture over warm cake

You can adjust the amounts for the size you need. This cake can be made one day in advance and even tastes better the next day.

As for the liquids running out of the cake, I suppose you can add less liquid to meet your needs.
