My MMF is very soft and looks almost wet. I think this is from the Crisco. Anyway to fix without adding too much more sugar? I don't want it too sweet. Will cornstarch be okay to add...how do I harden it a bit without overdoing it and making it crack when it dries?

Im no MMF expert by no means - BUT I would do what you said .. just add a small amt of cornstarch then let it sit awhile .. then add a small amt again if its still to wet .. Good Luck!!!
As far as the other ?? - do you have any tylose? Gumpaste? Add a little and that should help with the cracking .. HTH!
