I would use the cream cheese filling that comes in a sleeve- it does not have to be refrigerated.

Any of the sleeved fillings (bavarian or Cr Ch - can add orange extract); jam or canned pie fillings would work.

I have made this buttercream icing with orange extract and my daughter says it tastes like an orange creamsicle.

1-1/3 cups Cricso
1/3 to 1/2 cup coffee-mate non dairy creamer, depending on consistency needed
3 Tbsp meringue powder
2-3 Tbsp clear vanilla, adjust for flavor.
2 lbs powdered sugar

Mix all but the powdered sugar for a minute or two, then gradually
add the sugar. The longer the mixer runs,
the smoother it gets.

(substitute orange extract for the vanilla)

The coffee creamer gives it a creamy taste but since it is a crusting Buttercream it does not need refrigeration.
