How Long Does Fondant Last??

I have a cake for May 23rd and I am just doing fondant figurines that are going on the cake. I made the fondant yesterday to practice the figurines, will this fondant last until the 23rd or should I make another batch? Right now, I have the fondant in ziplock bags and in the fridge.
