I love the idea of making a filmstrip out of fondant. Can anyone tell me how to make those?

Here's the one I did:

The cake is a 2" tall, 12" round. I cut black fondant into a 2" strips and wrapped it around the cake (adhered with BC). I cut out white squares of white fondant and adhered that to the black strip. Added white dots of BC on the sides. It was way easier than I thought ... the hardest part was getting the fondant to stick to the freakin' cardboards (the grey 'reel' parts).

Proper credit to cheflish for her original cake that I used as a model and for her INVALUABLE help via PM's with me.

I made some out of gumpaste to adhere to the side of a cake. I used the ribbon cutter to cut a wide strip, a small square cutter to cut the holes on the side, & made it wavy by drying it over a couple of the wilton flower formers.
