I want to make some cake balls with the extra cake that I trimmed off. How long can you store these for? Should you store them in the refrigerater or freezer?
Thanks.

I usually mix up my dough (already baked cake combined with frosting of whatever kind you choose) and form into balls, then I put in ziplock bag and store in freezer until I need to take them out and dip them in the chocoate. Then store at room temp to keep water beads from forming. I store them up to a month or two in the freezer.

They are good for a little under a week at room temp. Or that's my opinion icon_smile.gif
