Is it OK to use a bundt cake recipe for a regular 8" round layer cake? I'm thinking it would be, but I'm not sure. icon_confused.gif Here's a link to the recipe I would like to use:

I would use the following cake recipe too but it doesn't call for any oil. Is the recipe incorrect or does the other stuff in it make up for the missing oil?

Anyone know if either one needs to be tweaked? TIA for any and all help. thumbs_up.gif

I don't know of any reason that you wouldn't be able to bake the Orange Coconut Cake in regular rounds instead of a bundt pan.

Thank you! I was beginning to wonder if anyone would answer. I'm about to make the cake and I bought back-up ingredients just in case. You are a life saver (or in this case, a cake saver). icon_biggrin.gif
