Okay, so I already know that there are different things that I have to consider like location etc. I have a request for a doll cake (wondermold pan) on top of a 10 in round cake. I am not sure what pricing to quote. I'm in utah, and where I am I have not found any bakeries that I could use to guage how much to price. I have walmart...and well, we all know how that goes.

If you could please tell em what you'd charge for that (w/o fondant, all b/c) then that way at least I can get a ballpark! icon_smile.gif

Thanks in advance.

the best way to go is to work out all of your own costs, ingrediants, power, gas, water etc etc etc. put a value on your time too. and there you have a good starting figure
if theres no one comparable near by, you can pretty much set the price, they have no choice apart from walmart! but maybe extend your search to the nearest towns and cities, see how they are charging.
