Hi,
I was after one also and couldn't find one. So what I did was I used a spare heart shaped cookie cutter and used the top and bent this for the eyes and then pulled out the sides until I got the shape. It wasn't too hard to do at all.
I will post a picture of the cookies soon so you can have a look.

I don't know about a cutter, but my MIL has cookie press disks that do Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie. I know they are a couple of years old but maybe e-bay might have something useful. Hope it helps.

yeah know, I used a football cookie cutter. Then added two round cookie dough to form eyes. I think I used the bigger side end of a tip. Here's a photo - it is not that great but close to elmo.

If you can find a cookie monster one, it would work too... they have the same shape face - you just have to color him red instead of blue and give him a nose.

I made some Elmo cookies not too long ago. I found a pic on the internet that I liked and glued it to some cardboard to make a template. I only had to make one dozen, so it was too bad. I use an exacto knife to cut out chilled dough. You can see my cookies in my photos...top row second from left. Good luck!

Just simple circle cutter might work too. Look at my picture, not perfect, but the idea is there.

ZlatkaT...that's a GREAT solution to no Elmo cutter! Love your cookie. I should have thought of that before I had cut them all! icon_eek.gif

I also found a picture of elmo and resized it to what i needed. I had cut the cookie and made half elmo and half cookie monster. I did about 2 dozen...a pain but it was for my son's 1st birthday so i didnt mind so much...lol. I have them in my pictures.

I made some Elmo cookies and I used a paw shaped cookie cutter. They worked out great!
