So I have searched and somewhat found something, but wondering if there is another way as there are amazing pictures of real looking ones.

I'm trying to make gum paste lilacs. Anyone know how? It's for a friend's 21st birthday cake and she loves purple and lilacs.

I did manage to get some great colors for it from Beth with Sugarpaste at the cake show this past weekend. But now I need to figure out how to make them. I thought that I had something in a book, but I was soooooo wrong.

Please help! I'd like to get started on making them as soon as possible. Her birthday is in 2 weeks.

Thanks everyone!

jkalman made some GORGEOUS gumpaste lilacs a while back. I know she has pictures of them in her photo collection on CC. Maybe contact her. I know she made them freeform, without a cutter. Good luck!
