Ok I have always wanted a chocolate fountain, have never got one because of the expense. However at an auction last night, I got a sephra elite fountain, (Brand new in box, still had the unopened 4 lbs chocolate) for get this, 15$ !!!! (oh, it also came with a portable dvd player, just sittin on top...lol) Now I would like to find out if it is a good venture to rent it out for weddings and such...or is it too much trouble? Feedback appreciated...How much is the going rate to rent these?
Thanks!

I have a couple of fountains, but they are the small ones.

I don't generally charge a rental because I'm there doing the food anyway. I prcie the fountain dippers an chocolate per person.

Twice I have had people only want the fountain an dippers from me, didn't want me to monitor it-Budget Bride. I did charge a rental on those occassions, but it was small. I went an set-up an then went a cleaned it up.

I know that this doesn't help you, maybe someone else can.
Either way it sounds like you got heck of an awesome deal!! thumbs_up.gif
