Today has been the busiest day yet for me. I baked 264 cupcakes, Carved a horse cake, decorated 2 dozen of those cupcakes for a tower and made a topper cake for the tower. I am a home baker and have one little oven. It is a 24 inch wall oven so I can't even do several pans at one time !
I made it through the day though...AND LOVED IT!!!!
Here is what I done today.
I got tired just reading about your day All that work and you've got a little one to take care of too!
I love your cupcakes, did you brush the buttercream with pearl dust?
Wow, you must be super organized!!
I don't think i could pull that off, everything looks great!
Love those cuppies..
Hats off to you, keep up the good work. I can barely get started sometimes so I admire your drive. And the finished products look great. My fave is the horse

I didn't brush them at all. I did the mini crowns, the tiara on the cake and the dots on the cake but my buttercream was just ultra shiny tonight for some reason lol. My daughter commented on that too. Not sure why...I used the recipe on Edna's website.
Thanks everyone. I redid my horse..I didn't like him. Here is an update...I think he looks much better now.
Oh and the little one (baby in my avatar) is my grand daughter. But she lives with my along with my 18 yr old daughter, my grand daughter's father, my 14 yr old son and my husband.....Imagine doing all this with ALL of them home.
And no....I am FAR from organized.....Not really sure how I did it, but I did... Thank God for my laptop here in the kitchen and the TV too...I would have been crazy.....
Love those little crowns for the cupcakes...what a simple way to get a really great look.

Thanks. It was actually really easy. I used a larger Christmas Tree cookie cutter and then cut off the top part and laid them on a small rolling pin and used it as a former until they dried.

Thank you all. My customer for the horse was so happy and emailed me and said that it was delicious and her daughter broke down crying when she seen it. (good cry). That made me feel so good.
I have to say though. I have about 150 cupcakes I need to get rid of! I did all these cupcakes to sell at this event and they had 1 person show up! ONE PERSON! ARGGGG!!!!!
