I am a home baker and I bought a 50 lb. bag of cake mix at a bakery distributor company. I will scale it down to the amount for a single cake, but has anybody used these mixes and can I use it in the WASC recipe or add pudding to the mix? icon_smile.gif

Yes I have used it. It will work just fine for the WASC recipe icon_wink.gif
Good luck in scaling it down icon_sad.gif If you have a good scale just weigh out 18 oz. As I remember a mix is 18.5 oz right?
The problem I had w/that mix was the mixing directions. Once I was able to talk to the bakers at Dawn and come up w/a slightly different method of mixing it was perfect.

Thank you so much! Someone else told me they just add pudding to it also. Have you tried that? I didn't get an email when you replied, is that right? The box was checked but no notification.

I might have added some pudding once or twice - to make Butter Pecan cake - I found some bulk butter pecan pudding. Usually I would make up 20 #s or so at a time.
No I did not send an email.
