I am new to this site and have a question on voting for cakes in the contest. How do you vote? I have gone through the site and can't seem to find how to do this. icon_sad.gif

Just click on the link at the top of the page that says Cake Contest (it will say Vote for winner Now). If it doesn't have that message than voting hasn't begun yet. When you see all the contest pictures click on the pictures and select the stars to rate them.

You'll also want to subscribe to CC's newsletter as that is where the winner is posted.

Go to your profile (on the left side of screen in the purple box) and under
Preferences click yes on the Receive Newsletter by Email option.

Hi tinygreendogs and welcome to CC.

We'd be happy to help you out if you could provide some more info as to what you are looking for. If I take a guess I'm thinking your asking on how to make cake balls. Is that what you need?

Here's a link that comes in handy for Cake Central (it's a list of all CC acronyms)

There was a demonstration at the Nashville Cake Show on making a topiary type shape out of cake balls. They were covered (I think) in dark & white choc melts? It was sitting on a fancy iron candle stand....thanks for any help...............

Is this the one you are referring too?

Just a friendly FYI, you may want to start a new post so that someone who's done one of these might be able to help especially if they see the title and it relates to the question. I'll help the best I can. There are a lot of how to's around and I'd be more than happy to help you any way I can.
