I was wondering if anyone could please let me know the best type of fondant to use when covering a 3D cake? I currently use homemade MMF to cover my cakes but have not tried it on a carved cake. I know it can be temperamental enough on regular shapes so...any advice? The more the better. Thanks in advance for your help icon_smile.gif

I use MMF on everything, with good results.

Maybe someone else has another suggestion, though.

I would not take any chances especially if this cake is for a client! I like the same results I get from pettinice, I use MMF on smaller cakes and figurines
