Here is the easiest way to illustrate the whole deal. Disney may make the "learn how to draw" books. You can sit there all day and draw as many pictures as you want. You have not broken any laws by doing so. If you take one of your drawings, frame it, and sell it...now that is a whole new game. The minute you sell one of your drawings of their images, you have now broken the laws, because you are selling something that is their image.

This is why you must buy the image or figurine to place on the cake. Now they have made their money. If you create the image and sell it, then they have not made their money.

Thanks classiccake. It's not that I didn't know or understand the whole thing. I was just being fiesty and sarcastic with my post. Like I said, I don't sell cakes, but I will make a character for myself or family to eat. I can't get in trouble for that!
