i have had a request from a client to use cake mix cake! I need to know how many cups of batter does a regular boxed cake mix make? so that i can figure out how many boxes to buy to make this cake! Thanks for your help!

Hi. I use Duncan Hines cake mixes. Depending on the mix, (and how I make it), I can get anywhere from 6-8 cups.
I hope that helps even a little.
