I was playing with new cake toys this week, here is the finished shoe!
I really LOVE how it turned out - now I need to make the mate to it. icon_lol.gif

It's super super cute! You said you used a new cake toy...was this a mold or something? I love the ankle strap and I love that you got the stitching on it despite all the sparkles. Beautiful work. You should be proud.

Thank you! It was a set of cutters I bought from Cake Connection (they had a booth at our DOS) They are JEM cutters. I really wanted to have the footbed have a realistic angle to it, and I think it worked out fine. I just keep looking at it, it is so freakin' cute!! Now I have to get someone to order a cake that will incorporate shoes!! icon_wink.gif

Thank you everyone for the nice comments! I have halogen track lighting in my kitchen, and boy did that thing sparkle in that light last night! I used sparkle dust on the shoe - ruby colored. (got that at the DOS also from Cake Connection)
