I just did a "donation" cake to a local high school's special education department's Spring dance. They are called the "Stars". And, the request was a Star Shaped cake! WoW! Did I ever have to go back to 10th grade geometry on that one. I only found one cake pan by Wilton that is star shaped. But, I needed tiered stars. I would like to find star shaped tiered pans for the next time such a request comes in. I ended up carving up rounds into pentagons, and precisely measuring another set of rounds to into five slices to make the points... Yikes it was alot of work for a cake I gave away to a deserving group of students! Any leads on if such shaped pans exist?

Yes! They do exist!

I bought 3 graduating star pans by Martha Stewart at MACY's.

I got them right after the 4th of july, so it may be a seasonal thing or maybe you can find them online.
