I have an order for a stand-up 3-D cake of Pablo from the backyardigans. Now I ahve seen the stand up cakes done..there are some great ones in the galleries! Now how do you do that?? What kind of pan do you bake the cake in? Can I bake in a stainless steel bowl?
I am pretty new at this but I couldn't say no I'm always up for a challenge! I've never used shaped pans I like carving so thats not out of the question.
Any ideas or suggestions or the know how would be greatly appreciates!!!
Thanks so much,

Hi! One EASY option is to use the giant, stand-up bear pan that wilton makes. You could modify it to have Pablo sitting down (his flippers instead of bear feet). You could carve off the ears, etc. to make it more penguin shaped.

I hope this helps!! My 2 kiddos like the Backyardigans too. : )
