Hello Being from Michigan, and trying to do the gumpaste magnolias. My question is how do you get the furry buds made, What does everyone use for the fur? Also it there a good video website to see how they are made? Thanks to all

You could make the "fur" with fruit fresh and a little bit of powdered food coloring mixed together. I can't remember the color of the fuzz on the buds. Anyway, brush a very light coating of gum glue on you bud and then roll it in the fruit fresh mixture. If you can't find fruit fresh (a powder used to prevent browning of fruit) you could use unflavored gelatin.

Boy you sugar flower masters are creative. Makes me think...who is the first person to think that up? Like, who was the first person to realize you can cook an egg and eat it?
