Does anyone know how to make a royal icing hibiscus? I need to make some for a luau party for 3rd graders so I don't want to do gumpaste. I've searched and searched, but have not found anything here on CC.

I never got any help with this so I made some hibiscus out of candy. If you'd like to know how go to this topic:

Take a serious look at the Petunia which is made in Wilton's Course 3. It looks just like the Hibiscus that is sold online. Wilton recommends using a tip 103 which might be too small and even the 104 may be too small. So I would use the largest tip you could find that is smilar. If you need help check out the wilton site at:

I think you could use a tip 1 or 2 and make a cluster of pull out dots for the center. If you need any more help just ask and good luck.
