Sorry to post this in 2 different places, but I'm desperate!!!!

I'm all set to make my first batch and am at the point where I'm waiting for the gelatin mixture to cool to lukewarm and something came up and I have to leave......is it possible to set everything aside and then re-heat the gelatin mixture??? Or do I have to start all over??????

I think it would be fine to reheat it - just make sure you strain it before you mix it with the powdered sugar. I've slightly re-heated mine before and it turned out just fine.

No problem! I would just make sure you reheat it slowly, like in 15 second intervals. Mine wasn't completely cooled when I reheated it, so just go slow icon_smile.gif

Sorry I didn't see this until now, but I have actually done just that (had a kiddo emergency and stepped away from the stove, came back and the whole top had pretty much jelled). I just did exaclty what you guys talked about here, and it worked perfectly. Best of luck!
