I have been asked to make a cake that looks like a school bus. I have not done much carving so I need some help with pointers on where to start and what type of cake to use. Also if anyone has any pictures of bus cakes they have i have doone that I could look at that would be great.

Sorry no one has been able to suggest anything for you.
When I made on (sorry no pix) I used a loaf pan or you can bake a sheet cake, cut it in 1/2 (long ways) and stack the pieces.
Find yourself a good picture of the bus shape and carve the front part and the rounded top edge.
If you use my *original* WASC recipe it is ideal for such carving work.
If you need more help just pm me.

When you say your "original" WASC do you mean with the whole eggs? I normally use the egg whites so want to make sure i use the right one.

Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner, but I hope you figured out that the recipe using whole eggs is the one I was referring to.
