I have the opposite problem, when I try to make one of my cakes as my avatar, I get a message that it is too big. Do you know how to make it smaller?

Had the same problem, so played around with it and what I did was went to the gallery on here and picked which pic I wanted to save, saved it to My Pictures, then used the editing to resize that one, I guess the kb's are smaller when we upload to this site (which was my problem, the pixels would reduce but the file size wouldnt). I would change the percentage until I got 6kb or less and it worked, I now have an avatar.
