Hi All!!
This post is for you all that have Sharon Zambito's Buttercream DVD. I have several of her DVD's, she is AMAZING!!! Her cakes are beautiful.
I was hoping I can get some of help from you that have used her tips. In regards to measuring the lowest point of the top of the icing. This measurment lets you make the template to level the cake. Do you measure the lowest point of the top rim icing level. When I say the top rim, I mean the very edge of the icing. Or, do you measure the lowest point of the top middle of the cake??? I find it extremely hard to find the measurement if it is the top middle portion of the cake. My eyes just will not focus, nor can I find the lowest point. However, I find it easier if I am measuring the lowest point of the edge of the cake.
I hope this makes sense.... Thank you all.....
